Wind Innovations Power Systems Inc is a young dynamic organization dedicated to the development of wind turbine generators. The organization is founded by enthusiastic professionals who are willing to invest their time in the development of such systems, as a way to do their part in the fight against global warming.

The potential customers include rural and remote users as well as small and medium power producers in Canada and around the world, with potential users reaching the thousands, especially in developed countries.

Recent debates on global warming and energy conservation has prompted many utilities to offer power generation programs aimed at encouraging small producers of green energy be it solar wind or Hydro.

Wind turbines are highly efficient machines that have been used successfully by big power producers to generate electricity on large commercial scales.

The same however does not apply for small-scale power generation using wind turbines.

The most advantageous programs offered by utilities (the so called net metering), for individual producers, target a range of up to 50 KW generating capacity. Beyond that, pricing will be subjected to the tariffs applicable to large power producers.

Hence the focus of this project is wind turbines between 15 Kw and 50 Kw. 15 Kw is chosen as a minimum, because various researches and studies have shown that a unit smaller than that is too expensive to justify the investment versus the expected return.
